SUMMARY OF WORK DONE THUS FAR:
1. Contacts with representatives in Washington D.C. for a cheese receptions were not firmly established and no date could be settled on for the receptions so we were unable to follow through on this objective. We will, however, try again next year.
2. The ADGA booth at the World Dairy Expo was a great success. Members from the Heartland Dairy Goat club, Wisconsin Dairy Goat Assoc., and the ADGA Products Committee manned the booth. All of the volunteers felt that the money and time were well spent and that many positive contacts were made. The volunteers have been asked to write a report about their experiences on the days that they worked. These will be presented to the board at convention.
3. ADGA Products Committee members have coordinated with Linda Grille and Joan Vandergriff and have contacted cheese producers about the cheese competition to be held at the National Convention and will help with the check in and set up for the cheese judging. Members will also participate in preparation for the Wine and Cheese event at the ADGA 2004 National Convention.
