Problems Encountered:
None
Decisions Requiring Board Action:
None
Long Range Goals:
To continue to manage the sale in profitable manner and continue to increase the average sale price per goat. We are encouraged in that we are now getting a higher average price per animal for the sale and that the individual prices are generally higher. We also hope to work closer with the Annual Meeting Committee in order to define and outline our responsibilities more definitely.
In the near future the committee will be discussing the possibility and feasibility of including embryo sales as an additional feature at the sale. With limited exports due to current world market concerns the sale of North Amercian genetics both cross border and world wide may become a viable market once the clearance is in place for embryos to once again be available for export.
The committee will also be discussing enhancing media advertising through the intranet and through ADGA in order to gain a larger audience than it is currently circulated to.
