2004- Year END Report--ADGA Type Committee

Committee members: Pat Hendrickson, Chair., Lelia Berry, Sheila Nixon, Ann Weikel, Lorraine Yankovich, Dan Considine, Tom Rucker, Doug Thompson, & Steve Considine

1. Goals and objectives for the year and Progress of summary. Per ADGA BOD Directive preserving top LA, GCH, & Top Ten…We are still awaiting word from Orix that a program is in place to list these goats. Some preliminary format work was done early by committee members-project on hold.

Sheila met with Regina Stahl Briskey to refine the pencil drawing of the breeds and progress to the new Oil paintings of each breed for the office. No finalized drawings have been presented at present.

2004 Type committee presentation at Convention is being developed with Steven Considine leading the way----with past ADGA BOD meetings effecting other committee member participation we are turning over the program to our non director members.

2. PROGRESS SUMMARY OF WORK SO FAR: See Above

3. Financial Report: No expenses at this time.

4. Problems encountered: Lack of response from one Committee member entirely. (who has been removed by chair since Mid-year report). Time limited for most other members. Much on hold due to computer issues.

5. Decisions requiring Board action: None

6. Plans for remainder of year, next year and long range goals: Work on items above as well as work within committee on Educational programs for TYPE presentations at future Conventions. These tools in development could be used at workshops and conferences in the future once completed.
