The 4-H/FFA Projects Committee would like to announce the revised Youth Showmanship Award Application will be available in all show packets this year. As requested by several ADGA judges, this form is available to print off the website as well. We hope this updated application is more versatile and easy to use.

The Committee is seeking educational materials useful for 4-H and FFA leaders. These materials will be gathered, reviewed, and the best will be posted to the ADGA website for use by anyone interested in educating young people. We are open to all topics of interest to youth active in dairy goats including (but not limited to): breeds, structure, classification, selecting dairy goats, terminology, oral reasons, LA classification, health management, disease prevention/treatment, reproduction, genetics, dairy food products, pack goats, milk testing/DHI, caprine-related careers, quality assurance, showmanship, ethics, sportsmanship, promotion, record keeping, A.I., sire selection, birthing, kid care, and feed/nutrition. We would appreciate information in either a Microsoft Word Document (attachment or computer disk) or as a weblink. Please try to cite original sources of your materials if possible. We appreciate your help in educating youth about the dairy goat.
