ADGA Announces NEW Online Service – Service Memos
In an ongoing effort to make the dairy goat registration process more accessible and cost effective to its members, ADGA has launched a new online service. Members may now register online any offspring from a breeding requiring a service memo, once the service memo has been filed online.
To file a service memo online, you will need to have a PIN, which can be applied for at http://adga.org/pin-application.html. Once you have received your PIN, you can register at https://members.adga.org/member/ADGAPortal.aspx?p=R for a login to use the member site.
To use the new service, go to https://members.adga.org/member/ADGAPortal.aspx and click the “My ADGA” tab. The menu on the left side of the page will have an option called “Online Applications”, where you can select “Record a Service Memo” (as well as “Record an Artificial Insemination Memo” and “Register a Goat”).
After the form is completed and submitted, a service memo number will be issued. If you have an email address on file with ADGA, a confirmation email will automatically be sent to you. If you wish, there is a place on the Service Memo form to have the confirmation email sent to other people of your choosing, as well. Supplying the service memo number to another ADGA member will then allow them to register offspring online from this breeding.
If you are the primary account holder, you may also file a service memo for any member linked to your account. If the dam is owned individually by a co-owner of the sire, the breeder must be the primary account to the co-ownership account, or a service memo is required at this time. To view the accounts to which you are the primary account holder, click on the “Show My Linked Accounts” feature on the service memo form.
Members will also notice a different look to the online registration application. The form has been redesigned to allow the capability to register a goat with a service memo, as well as to incorporate new features requested by our members.
