The Board of Directors increased fees for transfers, duplicates, revisions, and registrations (not online registrations) effective January 1, 2009. ADGA expects to experience a loss in 2008, but we have a healthy cash reserve of about one-quarter of our operating budget. The fee changes will give ADGA a break-even year in 2009 if we do about the same volume of work as in 2007 and 2008. ADGA has been offering reliable and prompt service; we need to pay staff well and improve our data handling system to maintain that service.
ADGA will only stay strong by support of the members. The price increases are needed and we hope you will understand.
