Proposal – Part A:             Due to the inability to register animals online at this time, the Executive Committee recommends suspension of the $2 charge for a stamped duplicate registration application from June 2, 2015 until August 1, 2015. With the passage of this postal ballot, fees for stamped duplicates issued since June 2, 2015 will be waived. The Board further authorizes the Executive Committee to exercise an option to extend the date up to October 14, 2015, if animals cannot be registered online as of August 1. The Executive Committee will evaluate the status of web functions and advise the board of their determination (Unanimous vote).

Pro:                        This would be member friendly during this time period when the online registration option is not available.

Con:                       This action will result in less income to ADGA; however, the income was not part of the 2015 budget. Therefore, this will have no effect on budgeted income. Income in recent years was $1000.

Postal ballot motion passes.

Proposal – Part B:             In recognition of the inconvenience associated with the delay in having the re-designed website with new service apps available to members, the Executive Committee recommends providing the online subscription reports app at no charge to interested members until December 31, 2015 (Unanimous vote). Members enrolled in subscription reports prior to June 1, 2015, would be provided an additional year of subscription.

Pro:                        This gesture would communicate our appreciation for the patience of the member during this time and give members an opportunity to use the service.

Con:                       This action would result in lower income associated with the purchase of the service, which has historically been $4,500 per year.
