Position Available – Senior Full-Stack Developer



The American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA), the world’s largest dairy goat breed association, is seeking a senior level full-stack developer to provide hands-on assistance in developing and maintaining the Association’s in-house information systems. This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of IT and Operations. Full benefits package includes Medical/Dental/Vision, Retirement plan, Vacation and more. Starting salary range is 75K-120K DOE. Remote work is possible and negotiable.

A qualified applicant would need to reside in the continental U.S. and have credentials for working in the U.S.


The full-stack developer works with staff and vendors in developing new functionality, including iOS and Android mobile apps, as well as smoothing out rough edges in the existing application. Additional responsibilities include working with operations staff to ensure reliable, secure deployments. The full-stack developer serves as the key resource for evaluating and recommending new technologies.


Along with experience in core front- and back-end technologies, leading candidates will possess a strong dev-ops orientation with experience in Microsoft Azure. Preference will be given to candidates possessing a BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field.

Hard skills include:


    • 3 years demonstrable experience developing and maintaining applications using MVC/Asp.Net Core, C#, SQLServer (T-SQL) on the back end and JavaScript/Typescript on the client side.
    • 3 years demonstrable experience working with single page application architectures including design, coding, implementation and debugging
    • 3 years working familiarity with CSS/ HTML5, HTTP and REST

Preferred Experience

Azure Dev-ops, MSBI Tools, Swagger/OpenAPI AsyncAPI, RabbitMQ or similar message brokers, Hangfire, ReactJS.Net or similar front-end technology, Stimulsoft. Experience in developing iOS and Android mobile apps.

Soft skills include good communications and problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail and a commitment to being a team player.
