Scholarship Programs

ADGA ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS

Applications available to ADGA Members for scholarships through ADGA – Helen Staver Foundation are due April 1. For the Evelyn J. Cassette Memorial Scholarship, preference will be given to those who have been involved in 4-H for at least three years.

Applicants for the Adels Family Educational Scholarship, Evelyn J. Cassette Memorial Scholarship and Jim Morrison Scholarship or any additional academic scholarships only need to fill out one application to be considered for all 16 academic scholarships.

These 16 scholarships are:

  • The Adels Family Educational Scholarship – $1,500
  • Robert L. Cassette Scholarship – $1,500
  • Evelyn J. Cassette Memorial Scholarship – $1,500
    (funded by Philip M. Cassette, Chateau Briant’s, Maine)
  • Jim Morrison Scholarship – $1,000
  • Jim Morrison Scholarship – $750

DON’T KNOW WHICH COLLEGE?

If you’re going to be a freshman and haven’t made a final decision about which college you will attend, that’s OK—apply anyway. Just indicate that your school choice isn’t final when applying. It is also possible to change school choices after a scholarship has been awarded.

ADGA YOUTH CONVENTION SCHOLARSHIP

The Youth Convention Scholarship is available to ADGA Youth Members to help them be able to attend the youth activities at Annual Convention. The Convention Scholarship applications are due June 1 with the announcement of winners by July 1.

AMERICAN GOAT FEDERATION YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP

ADGA Youth members or youth whose parents or guardians are members of ADGA are eligible for scholarships from the American Goat Federation (AGF). The deadline for applications is May 1 and the associated project deadline is July 1. For complete details and the application see AGF Youth Scholarship Program
