Production awards on ROSS registered animals with Advanced Registry DHIR records have been stored since the release of NG through October of 2022. These awards have now been uploaded into NG and include *M, Generational recognition, *B, +B, etc. and conversion to GCH from CH, or SG to SGCH based on earning the production awards.
Please note that the generation awards require more than just conversion and still need to be collated into a single award. So, you will see each generation listed in the animal award section. However, those are collated and would appear on the certificate correctly. Example – 4 individual generational awards would translate to 4*M. This programming has been scheduled for an upcoming programming sprint.
Please keep in mind that there may be reasons that you may not find the award listed. These include:
Animal was registered in the NG system – these will come at a later date.
The award process isn’t programmed yet this is just bringing over awards. For example, a buck registered in NG that now has a dam with a *M wouldn’t not get the *B until the awards procedure is in place.
Animal’s record came in after October of last year – due to the change in the Nigerian butterfat level enacted at the last Board meeting, we cannot run these in ROSS. However, the records are stored for upload in NG so the awards will come at a later date.
Problems with the record from CDCB or no record from CDCB – these can be researched so please file a support ticket if these animals or awards were not listed on your production edit report you received last year and you didn’t already report that. Those identified and corrected can be uploaded at a later date.
Owner Sampler records that were not entered into ROSS – this would especially apply to those ST type awards. Again, those documents and the functionality to include those are upcoming.
Over 10,000 awards have been moved into the animal’s records and as always appreciate your commitment to production testing as well as your patience in the recognition process. For inquiries regarding awards please email awardsreview@adga.org.
